Dr Tapan Kumar Pal
Bio
Dr Tapan Pal is an assistant professor at Department of Chemistry, SOET, Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar since November,2018. He's a research-oriented professional with a teaching pursuit.
Education
He did my BSc in Chemistry from Vidyasagar University,2008 and later on completed his MSc in Chemistry from IIT Bombay in 2010. For his PhD, he researched 'Inorganic-organic hybrid materials', and received his PhD from IIT Kanpur in 2016. He has earned his post doctoral fellowship from CSIR National Chemical Laboratory Pune.
Research Interests
His areas of research are rooted in supramolecular chemistry and the designing of fluorescent materials. Exploring their sensing applications falls under his domain of interests too.
